Corrections officer faces internet sex charges

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A corrections officer caught in an internet sex sting is expected to be arraigned in court.

John Kamphaus worked for the Hamilton County Sheriff's department.

Kamphaus was charged for allegedly using a computer to lure a minor for sex.

Prosecutors said for years he chatted online with someone who he believed to be 15 years old.

It turns out, the young teen was actually a Kenton County detective.
