Ronald Reagan reopens after fatal crash Tuesday morning

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- A serious accident closed the westbound lanes of Ronald Reagan Highway in Springfield Township Tuesday morning.

A car flipped on the right side of the highway past Mockingbird Road Bridge.   23-year-old Felicia Jones of Blue Ash was a passenger in the vehicle.  She was thrown from the car.  Jones was taken to UC Medical Center where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.

The driver of the car, 28-year-old Steven Dorton also of Blue Ash, was taken to UC Medical Center with facial injuries.

The crash is under investigation.  Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Springfield Township Police Department at 513-729-1300.

The road reopened after the crash around 3:50p.m. Tuesday.
