Cold beer, not here: Federal judge rejects challenge to Indiana law
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WKRC) -- A federal judge rejected a challenge to an Indiana law that stops convenience stores and groceries from selling cold beer.
The new ruling said: The state legitimately drew a line by only allowing liquor stores to sell cold beer.
A gas station industry association said it planned to continue trying to overturn the law. It filed the lawsuit last year, arguing the restrictions on cold beer sales are discriminatory and don't allow for a fair marketplace.
