Possible tax increase to help Museum Center and Music Hall

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- Hamilton County announced it will test the waters on a possible sales tax increase to pay for work to fix up two local icons.

Wednesday commissioners decided to hold public hearings to gauge support or opposition to raising the sales tax.  The money would pay for repairs at the Museum Center and renovations at Music Hall.

The Union Terminal buildings need repairs because of significant water damage.  Plans for Music Hall include 95 million dollars in upgrades.
