Ky. spent millions more on snow clean up

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKRC) -- The state of Kentucky spent millions of dollars more in the 2013-2014 winter to clean up after snow storms.

$75 million was used to clear ice and snow. That's $32 million more than the 2012-2013 winter.

Because of that, the state has to cut back on other expenses such as tree and brush removal and patching potholes.
