Police: Both parents did research on heat deaths before Ga. toddler death

ATLANTA (WKRC) -- Investigators in the Atlanta area now say both parents of the toddler who died alone in a hot SUV told them they did online research on how hot it needs to be for a child to die in a vehicle.

22-month-old Cooper Harris died earlier in June.

His father, Justin Harris, is in jail on charges of murder and child cruelty. The mother, Leanna, has not been charged yet.
