Walkers raise money for juvenile diabetes

MASON, Ohio (WKRC) -- More than 1,000 people laced up their sneakers to support research for juvenile diabetes Saturday.

The 20th annual "3-K Walk to Cure Diabetes" took place at Kings Island. The walk raises money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

In 2013, $86 million was raised from similar walks across the country.

Local 12's own Cammy Dierking served as emcee and led a dance party with all of the walkers.
