Cincinnati gears up for a star studded weekend
CINCINNATI (Brad Underwood) -- Cincinnati will be the host to a star studded week of performances.
It seems like everywhere Grammy winners are performing. Bruno Mars rocked out at US Bank Arena Friday Night. Saturday, Beyonce and Jay Z will take the field at Great American Ball Park for their "On the Run Tour." Sunday, country music superstar Tim McGraw will be at Riverbend. And over at PNC Pavilion fans lined up before noon to get into Friday night's "Fifth Harmony Show."
In the parking lot of PNC Pavilion, the girls from Troop 41381 warmed up their voices as they got ready to see one of their favorites, Fifth Harmony. The girls aren't alone, they brought their moms along for the fun.
Tina Worley, one of the girls' mother, said, "We were very concerned about safety actually so we are all wearing our green troop shirts to make sure. Extra moms bought tickets, we're not a one to one ratio like we typically are but we are close to it."
Downtown set up continued Friday night at Great American Ball Park for the "On The Run Tour" with Beyonce and Jay Z. High above GABP, the stage was built and many of the seats were already ready for fans. Even fans all the way from Brazil, studying in the United States, said they couldn't pass up this weekend of music in Cincinnati.
Music fan Natalia Brandao said, "This kind of music is so famous in Brazil. When we are here we are looking all the time for good concerts to go. We found this and we could not miss this concert. "
Over at PNC the weekend will conclude with Phillip Phillips and OAR, plus a show with Tim McGraw.
Ziggy Marley will also playing Saturday at the Taft Theatre. And on top of all that, the Quaker State 400 is Saturday night at the Kentucky Speedway.
