Hamilton woman who went missing in NYC is released from hospital

NEW YORK (WKRC) -- The Hamilton woman who went missing in New York City earlier this week is on her way back home.

Vivian Minielli was released from a New York City hospital Wednesday.

The 61-year-old wandered away from her hotel on Sunday.

She was found 30 hours later sleeping on a park bench about 20 blocks from her hotel.

Her husband, Sam, was talked about the emotion of getting her back.

"Oh, the happiest day of my life.  It was incredible. Boy, when you think you've lost your wife, getting her back is huge."

Vivian says she remembers leaving the hotel, but doesn't know where she went.

She suffers from early-onset Alzheimers and was treated for two days for dehydration.
