Ownership of Quality Hotel in Norwood transferred

NORWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) -- A judge transferred ownership of the Quality Hotel in Norwood to a third party, which promises to make big changes.

Police shut down the hotel a few weeks ago after claims of drug activity and prostitution.

Judge Ruehlman says the third party has indicated it will refurbish the property in hopes of reopening the hotel. It will remain closed during the work. It will be up to the judge whether or not the hotel can reopen. They'll be back in court July 24.
