One man arrested after early morning SWAT situation in Walnut Hills

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A man is taken into custody after an early morning SWAT situation in Walnut Hills.

Police were called to Beresford Street around four Sunday morning, after a woman became concerned about her 18-year-old sister.  The woman went to check on her sister and a man reportedly answered the door with a gun.  When the man wouldn't answer the door for police, SWAT was called to the home.

The man eventually ended up coming out on his own a short time later.

Lt. Col. James Whalen of the Cincinnati Police said, "The preliminary indication is she walked out, she appears unhurt.  She said she's okay and that she had fallen asleep so what we want to do is get her off into a more private setting and see what may have led to all this."

It is not yet clear if any charges will be filed and Cincinnati Police will continue to look into the incident.
