Duebber's targeted again, three break-ins over six months

DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Brad Underwood) -- Making a quick stop at Duebber's Automotive for a snack or a fill up is common practice for many on the Westside.

However, another repetitive action was costing owner Marc Duebber a lot of money.  For the third time in six months, thieves broke into his shop at the corner of Ebenezer Road and Cleves Warsaw Pike.  The past two break-ins have resulted in hundreds of dollars' worth of cigarettes being stolen.

"It's the second time this one (glass door) has been replaced.  The main pane where they drove the truck through to steal the ATM has been replaced once," said Duebber.

After the last break-in, Duebber installed shatter proof glass. That didn't stop the latest thief, he continued to smash the door with a hammer before pushing his way through, bending up the glass.

"Finding your place in shambles, seeing glass everywhere, I'm done with it.  I've just had enough," said Duebber.

Each time the shop was robbed Duebber said his insurance rates rose. This time, Duebber says he was not filing a claim and cost him $1,200 out of pocket.

Police collected DNA samples from the scene have results have not come back from the lab.
