Teen killed, three others hurt in Clermont County crash

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- An 18-year-old was killed in a crash in Clermont County that also injured two other teenagers Sunday.

Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 16-year-old driving a Honda Civic was driving east on State Route 774 in Franklin Township, when he crossed the center line and hit a Dodge Ram truck.

The civic went off the road and slammed into a tree before coming to a rest in a field. Passenger Tyrell Curry, of Mansfield, was thrown from the car. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The Civic's driver, 16-year-old Sean Friedman and another passenger, 14-year-old Anthony Cupp, were taken to Children's Hospital. They're expected to recover. They were wearing their seat belts.

The driver of the truck was treated at the scene. Troopers are still investigating the crash.
