Six killed in head-on crash

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKRC) -- Six people, including three children died from a fiery crash in central Kentucky.

A station wagon was traveling north on U.S. 27 in Nicholasville Thursday night when the driver lost control, crossed the median and collided head-on with a van.  Horrified motorists offered assistance.  Some tried to pull the van away from the burning station wagon.
Police continue looking into the possibility of road rage or reckless driving by the station wagon's driver playing a role.
Police said all of the passengers, two adults and three children, in the station wagon died as did one adult in the van.  Four others were injured and rescuers took them to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
