Colerain Township fire fighters to be recognized

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- A local community will honor six fire fighters Tuesday evening for their work during a major oil spill.

More than 20,000 gallons of crude oil poured out of ruptured pipeline in March at the Oak Glen nature preserve. The Colerain Township fire and EMS department will award the firefighters the outstanding unit citation.

It's for the actions they took to find the source of the leak the night the spill was discovered.
