Kentucky reaches 110M settlement with tobacco firms
COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) -- Tobacco companies are settling a 10 year legal battle and giving the state of Kentucky 110 million dollars.
The fight has been over disputed tax payments connected to smoking related illnesses.
Kentucky's governor says the money will pay for agricultural and public health programs.
