Fire and law enforcement compete in annual games

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- The 2014 Ohio Police and Fire Games started Sunday and continue through June 13th.

The Games consist of about 30 individual and team events at various locations.  This is the first time in the 35 year history of the games that Clermont County is playing host.  The games are an annual event held in a different location each year in June.

According to organizers, the games are held to support the physical and mental fitness of Ohio's active and retired first responder community by promoting the concept of physical fitness and sport through participation in various sporting events.

The games are open to all first responders which includes law enforcement, fire fighters and military.
