Police called to Westwood Northern Blvd. for shooting

CINCINNATI (Perry Schaible) -- A 30-year-old man was shot at least once in the chest and is in critical condition at University Medical Center.

Cincinnati Police responded to a shooting at 1968 Westwood Northern Boulevard at 1:58 Thursday morning. Cincinnati S.W.A.T was initially called to the scene, but then told to stand down.

Police are sill looking for the suspect who they said is a male Hispanic. The victim and the shooter are acquaintances and both lived in the Flats apartment complex where the shooting took place.
