Our Economy: Cola giant helps fight obesity; Colorado pursues bill to develop financial system for marijuana

UNDATED (WKRC) -- A beverage giant is taking on the obesity epidemic.

Coca-Cola released an online video that showcases ways to burn off the 140 calories in a can of Coke.

The ad, which says it takes about 23 minutes of cycling to burn 140 calories, shows happy cyclists working hard to earn a can of cola.

Also, Colorado's governor signed legislation to create the world's first financial system for the marijuana industry.

The bill seeks to form a network of uninsured cooperatives that will give pot businesses access to basic financial services.

Because banks don't want to violate federal law, most pot-based businesses are cash only.

The U.S. Federal Reserve still has the approve the bill.
