Our Economy: Drones banned from federal parks; FDA approves new antibiotic

UNDATED (WKRC) -- The National Park Service has banned drones from federal parks and waterways.

The unmanned aircraft are popular for the aerial images they can capture, but the park services say they're also a source of nuisance complaints and safety concerns.

Also, the FDA has approved a new antibiotic from Cubist Pharmaceuticals to treat serious skin infections often acquired in the hospital.

The Food and Drug Administration has cleared the company's Sivextro in both pill form and as an infusible solution for adults.
