Council approves water rate hike

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- It will soon cost you more when you turn on your faucet.

Wednesday city council approved a four-percent rate hike for Cincinnati Water Works customers.  Water Works had asked for a 7.5 percent increase  but Vice Mayor David Mann suggested a lower rate.
The Business Courier reported the increase will go into effect in six months.
