City to clean up abandoned compost site

SPRING GROVE VILLAGE, Ohio (WKRC) -- Neighbors who had to live with the smell of rotting waste at a business that was closed can breath much easier.

The city of Cincinnati has revealed a plan to clean up the site of a commercial composting company on Este Avenue in Spring Grove Village.  Composting turns waste into fertilizer.
After complaints about the smell from neighbors the city did not renew the company's lease last summer.  Instead of hauling away what's left the city plans to complete the composting process.
