SWAT standoff in Monroe ends

MONROE, Ohio (WKRC) -- A SWAT standoff in Monroe that started Saturday morning has ended with a person in custody.

Police were called to a home on Main Street for a domestic dispute. When they arrived, Guy Perry refused to come out of the house. A woman ran out of the house and said he had a gun and tried to shoot her.

The street was shut down and the SWAT team was called.

The standoff ended shortly after 3:30 p.m. Saturday without incident and the man was taken into custody.

Perry is facing charges of attempted murder, domestic violence and weapons charges.
