I-275 road construction alert

CINCINNATI (Bob Herzog) -- Construction to keep in mind may make drivers want to leave a little early as they head out for their weekend travels.
I-275 East bound from I-74 up and around to the exit that would take you out to Ronald Reagan Highway or to Blue Rock Road will be going from three lanes down to two lanes.  There's already construction out there so the lane change will make things even more of a headache.
On that section of 275 if drivers stay in the far left or far right lanes they will be fine the way it is situated now.  However, the center lane will go away starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, and it will be closed all the way until Monday morning at 6 a.m.
One thing to consider is that the far left lane is a contra flow lane.  That means the eastbound traffic is actually flowing on the westbound side.  If drivers want to exit at Reagan or at Blue Rock, get in the right lane and stay there.  Plan on being there for a while!

Local 12 will keep a close eye on the situation that again, starts at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 23.
