Reds officials watching, learning from Minnesota All-Star Game

CINCINNATI (Perry Schaible) -- Major league baseball's brightest stars will shine Tueday at the All-Star Game.

With five players on the field Tuesday night, the Reds will get a lot of exposure, one year before the team hosts the All-Star game right here in the Queen City.

As our hometown players take the field Tuesday for the National League team, a couple dozen locals are on the ground in Minneapolis, getting tips about what they're doing right and what could use some improvement.

That information will then be discussed and filed away to be used to make the game here in 2015 all the better.

Reds Chief Operating Officer Phil Castellini has a lot of questions, mostly about handling the crowds, organizing volunteers and getting fans from point a to point b.

All those questions need to be addressed sooner than later.
