World Cup watch party at Taste of Belgium

CINCINNATI (Perry Schaible) -- The world will be watching as Team U.S.A takes on Belgium in the World Cup Tuesday afternoon.

Jean-Francois Flechet is from Belgium, but he lives and has a successful business right here in the Queen City.

He is the owner of Taste of Belgium, a restaurant that specializes in Belgian cuisine.

Teusday is a big day for Flechet as his home country takes on his adopted home land in the World Cup. They play in the first knock out stage. A win sends one team to the quarter finals and the other goes home.

Flechet is inviting all soccer fans to his new restaurant in Clifton for a watch party. There are seven HDTV's, a large projector screen, big bar, and large Belgian beer selection.

Fans will get the chance to win a jersey from each of the teams. Order a Budweiser and your name will be put into a drawing for the team U.S.A. jersey, get a Duvel, a popular Belgian beer, and you'll be added to the drawing for the Belgian jersey.

Last time these two teams met in world cup play was back in 1930. The US beat Belgium 3-0.

Taste of Belgium on Short Vine opens at 11 a.m. The watch party lasts from 4-6 and then there will be live music.
