Beavercreek twins close to unusual World record

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WKRC) -- A pair of twins from Ohio are on the verge of setting a World record.

Ronnie and Donnie Gaylon are attached at the hip. They were born in 1951 and live in Beavercreek, just outside of Dayton.

In October, they will hold the Guinness World Record as the longest living conjoined twins.

"It's what me and Donnie's always dreamed about," said Ronnie. "And we hope to get the ring, because we've dreamed about getting this since we were kids."

The Galyon's are already record holders for the longest current living conjoined twins.
