SPCA Cincinnati plans to boost adoption rates, reduce animal deaths

SHARONVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) -- SPCA Cincinnati has a plan to boost adoption rates and reduce animal deaths.

They plan to detail the plan along with a new partnership during a town meeting Wednesday night.

The organization teamed up with the Target Zero Institute, a nationwide initiative to reduce and eventually eliminate killing animals in shelters by 2025.

The SPCA says adoptions are up more than 100 percent over the last three years, but they think they they can do even better.

Wednesday's meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at the Sharonville Humane Center on Conrey Road.
