Man shot to death downtown

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A man was shot to death in downtown Cincinnati Monday evening. Police have identified the victim as 25-year-old Joshua Taylor.

It happened around 7p.m. at Garfield and Vine St.  According to the press release two, black males got into an argument when one produced a silver handgun.  He shot Taylor at least two times.  Taylor was taken to University Hospital where he died in surgery.

The suspect was described as a 19 or 20-year-old with a thin build.  He was wearing a black t-shirt with a green Nike symbol and black, saggy pants.  He was last seen on foot headed north bound on Vine.

"Our indication is that this was very directed and this was just confined to these two subjects and the person that was shot was the intended," said Lt. Dave Johnston, homicide commander.
