Suspect in transgender woman's murder appears in court

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- New information was presented Thursday on the murder of a transgender woman.

A judge set a half million dollar bond for Quamar Edwards.  He was charged with shooting Deandre Edwards to death a week ago.
A garbage collector found her body on Tuxedo Place in Walnut Hills.  Her family said the victim goes by the name Tiffany.
Police said the suspect admitted picking her up for sex then backing out.  Quamar Edwards told investigators they argued, and then he shot her and stole her purse.
