New Cincinnati police recruits come from all different departments

CINCINNATI (Jeff Hirsh) -- The newest class of Cincinnati police recruits will soon be on the streets.
The department's 103rd recruit class graduated Thursday afternoon.  One of the recruits brought his 4-year-old son.  William Remle always wanted to be a police officer in Cincinnati.  He used to work for Mt Healthy.  When Cincinnati was hiring he jumped at the chance to make the change.
His 4-year-old son said he wanted to be an officer someday just like his dad.

When asked why he wanted the job of being a Cincinnati officer Remle said, "Cincinnati police department is the best police department in the world."

The officers hit the street as soon as Friday, July 4.

A traditional recruit class of 60 members will begin later this year.
