Driver injured when car goes airborne in Whitewater Twp.

WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- A driver is hurt after her car goes airborne, hitting a pole and a parked boat in Whitewater Township.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says Catherine Slusher was driving on Kilby Road Monday morning, when her car drifted off the side of the road coming out of a curve.

Her car hit a driveway apron and went airborne. Investigators say her car hit a utility pole and the parked boat and trailer. Emergency crews had to get her out of her car. A medical helicopter rushed her to U.C. Medical Center, where she's said to be stable.

Investigators say Slusher was not wearing her seatbelt and her airbags did not deploy. They're still investigating the crash.
