Balloon Glow at Coney Island

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The skies will be glowing Thursday night around Coney Island, but this isn't your ordinary Fourth of July event.

Fifteen hot-air balloons will be glowing in the night sky during the 15th Annual of Roses Balloon Glow.

The balloons will illuminate the skies from 8-10 p.m.

The event starts at 5 p.m. with live music and other family-friendly activities.

It wraps up with a fireworks display over Lake Como that begins at 10 p.m.

The balloon activities and fireworks are free. There is a charge to get into the park though.

Vehicles parked in Gate 1 will not be allowed to leave the park until after the firework show.

Sunlight Pool and Coney Island's rides are open all day.
