Suspect in two bank robberies arrested

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police arrested a suspect in two bank robberies in two counties.

Police said Samuel Levy robbed the PNC Bank on State Route 28 in Miami Township on Monday evening. Investigators caught up with him Tuesday at 1 a.m.

He was also accused of robbing the Miami Savings Bank on Ferry Street in Cleves on June 24.  According to court papers, Levy handed a teller a note that read "This is a holdup, I have a gun and I want the 100s and 50s, I don't want to hurt you."  He got cash and drove off with an accomplice.

Police indicated he's also wanted for some home break-ins.  Detectives tracked down Levy's accomplice who admitted to his role and identified Levy.
