Attempted traffic stop turns into police pursuit

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Fredrick Harris, 46, led a Hamilton County Sheriff deputy on a pursuit early Thursday morning.

At approximately 12:15 a.m. the deputy attempted to stop a silver Dodge Grand Caravan at the 3100 block of Losantiville Road.

Harris was driving with a female passenger in the vehicle as he refused to stop.

He continued through numerous streets in which he ran several red lights and at times traveled on the wrong side of the road.

The pursuit came to an end at the 5800 block of Kennedy Avenue. Harris fled on foot and Harris was taken into custody inside a residence at that location.

He was charged with Felony Fleeing and Eluding as well as numerous traffic offenses.

The female passenger remained in the van.
