Man faces murder charge in Hamilton, even though he is not the killer

HAMILTON, Ohio (WRKC) -- A man faces murder charges in a stabbing death in Hamilton, even though he wasn't holding the knife.

Hamilton Police say Antonio Heath was stabbed to death while committing a home invasion robbery at a home on Hampshire Drive on June 12. The man who actually stabbed Heath was the victim of the robbery and police determined he was defending himself.

Police say Heath was robbing the place with 25-year-old Michael Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald is now charged with murder, robbery and aggravated burglary. Since police say he was an accomplice to the crimes which resulted in Heath's death, Fitzgerald deserves the blame.

Fitzgerald was arraigned Monday morning on the charges. A judge ordered him held on four million dollars bond.
