Bellevue bank robbery suspect arrested

BELLEVUE, Ky. (WKRC) -- Bellevue Police arrest the suspect in a bank robbery earlier this week.

Investigators say it was 30-year-old Bryan Russell who robbed the Chase Bank on Riviera Road in Bellevue on Wednesday. The thief was shown on surveillance video wearing a suit.

Officers recognized Russell because they had done a welfare check at his home a few months ago. They got a search warrant and found what they say is evidence from the robbery, but didn't find Russell.

Thursday, investigators got an anonymous tip that Russell had returned to his home. They found him hiding inside. He's now charged with robbery and locked up on a $25,000 bond.
