Expanded access to Lumenocity announced
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra expands access to Lumenocity through extra tickets, online streaming and simulcasts. The CSO made the announcement Thursday.
CSO is now offering 5,000 free tickets for the dress rehearsal on Thursday, August 31. They've also added 3,300 tickets for the performances on August 1, 2, and 3. There will be free drawings on a Lumenocity website through 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15. Those who have already reserved tickets will not be eligible for these new tickets. Registrations are also limited to one per household, but each registration enters you for 4 tickets..
Drawing winners will be chosen randomly. They'll be notified on July 21. On July 30, winners will get one-time-use online redemption codes to access and print tickets. Those who were able to reserve tickets on June 9 are now receiving their redemption codes through e-mail to print the tickets through Ticketmaster
Those who can see Music Hall from nearby neighborhoods can listen tot he CSO broadcast on WGUC 90.9 on Friday, August 1. CET will air Lumenocity on tv on Saturday, August 2 beginning at 9:30 p.m. There will be simulcasts at Fountain Square and Riverbend Music Center lawn on Sunday, August 3. There will also be a live stream for all three days on the Lumenocity website, beginning at 8:30 p.m.
When the free tickets originally became available on June 9, there were more than 300,000 visits to the Lumenocity website. The event reached its 37,500 capacity in just 12 minutes.
