Two arrested in attack on elderly woman in NCH

NORTH COLLEGE HILL, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police arrest two people wanted for an attack on an elderly woman in North College Hill.

Police took 20-year-old Lashawnda Stevens and 20-year-old Antwan Hawker into custody. They're charged with misuse of a credit card and receiving stolen property. They were identified through surveillance video.

On June 17, a 78-year-old woman was attacked while walking home on W. Galbraith Road. A mere 12 hours later, Stevens and Hocker were seen using her credit card on a Family Dollar store's surveillance system, according to police.

The woman suffered a broken ankle and femur along with a dislocated shoulder. She was using a walker to make the trek back to her home when two people attacked her from behind. The victim is recovering at an area hospital. She could be there for at least six weeks.
