Multiple people shot in downtown Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (Angela Ingram) -- A day after a deadly shooting happened in downtown Cincinnati violence erupts there once again.
Three people were shot at Sixth Street and Vine.  Police said the shooting was likely related to the shooting Monday night of Joshua Taylor.

Officials got the call around 9:30p.m. that multiple shooters were inside a vehicle and fired multiple shots.  Six shots were fired and three people were hit.  The victims were taken to UC Medical Center.
Police said they had very good leads and were working quickly to find the shooters.

Chief Jeffrey Blackwell of the Cincinnati Police Department said, "Not to give up too much because we are actively investigating some really fresh leads.  And we are looking for the suspects as we speak, clearly.  So I don't want to give up too much of the pertinent information but we do think it was related strongly to last night's shooting.  May be the same suspects or suspect.  So we are going to catch this individual."

Police said they are working quickly to restore peace of mind to those who work and live in the downtown area.
