Large fight breaks out at canoe and kayak rental

WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Brad Underwood) -- Police were called to Green Acres Canoe and Kayak Rental Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m. after a large brawl.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, about 30 people from two different parties got into a fight along the Whitewater River where it meets Dry Fork Creek.

It took police about three hours to find everyone involved in the fight and gather information. Some people involved ran off into the woods when police arrived, and authorities did not get much cooperation from the parties involved.

Several people suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Two men were cited with disorderly conduct. They have to pay a fine and are banned for life from the Green Acres.

Alcohol was involved in the fight.
