Mom talks about female Little League pitcher Mo'ne Davis

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (WKRC) -- Millions of eyes were on one little league pitcher as she took to the mound.

Thousands came out Wednesday night to see 13-year-old Mo'ne Davis from Philadelphia, as she struck out batter after batter.

Last Friday, Davis' 70 mile-an-hour fastballs made her the first to pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series in August of 2014. She's also the first Little Leaguer player ever to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Her mother talks about the publicity. "Philadelphia knew about Mo'ne, but the whole world knows about Mo'ne now. I just want her to be a normal 13-year-old child," says Lakeisha McClean.
The Philadelphia Taney Dragons lost to Las Vegas but they aren't out yet. If they beat Chicago Thursday, they'll get another rematch  with Las Vegas.
