14 year sentence for deadly shooting

HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) -- A guilty plea came in a deadly shooting that spawned fears of retaliation.

Phillip Coleman III pleaded guilty Friday, August 8 to aggravated manslaughter in the death of Deandrew Jackson in Hamilton.  Jackson was shot in the head at the intersection of Pershing Avenue and Front Street in March.
Detectives worked with police in Mississippi and Georgia to track down Coleman and finally caught up with him on a Greyhound bus traveling through Lexington.
A judge sentenced Coleman to 14 years in prison.
