No rules to keep companies from selling electronic fitness data

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- There were concerns about people's privacy if they wear electronic fitness monitors.
The devices gather data about a person like your age, weight, diet and even location.  There are no privacy rules in place that keep the companies that make them from selling your personal information.
Groups are calling on the Federal Trade Commission to establish rules for how fitness trackers deal with data.
Fitbit, one of the biggest makers, said it does not sell data.
