Ohio Department of Education finds evidence of 'data scrubbing' at Cincinnati Public

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The Ohio Department of Education found more evidence of "data scrubbing" at Cincinnati Public Schools.
The department said the district improperly reported the attendance data of 24 students in 2012 and 13.  State workers sent a letter to the superintendent informing her they will recalculate the report cards for the district from that school year.
This discovery was part of a bigger investigation of data manipulation statewide as districts tried to boost their scores.
