CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- An Ultralight aircraft has crashed in Clermont County on August 19th, 2014.
It happened on Oak Corner Road in Tate Township.  It was in an area that's just south of 125 between Bethel and the Brown County line.

State Troopers believe the pilot, Roland Franke, was taking off on his property when he started having engine problems.  The 72-year-old put the plane down which damaged the propeller and some other parts.  The plane was a sport plane.

Franke was Air Cared to UC Medical Center from the crash.  Officials believe he will be OK.  His injuries were described as non-life threatening.  Franke had been flying for more than 30 years.
