New Cincinnati Hotel celebrates opening

CINCINNATI, Ohio (WKRC) -- The Renaissance Cincinnati held a ribbon cutting ceremony this Tuesday, August 26th, 2014, to celebrate its debut.

The new hotel, located at East Fourth and Walnut Streets, has more than 300 rooms, 40 executive suites, and even a restaurant named after the famous Chicago architect Daniel Burnham which will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The hotel is actually a significant conversion of the historic Bartlett Building. Built in 1901, the eighteen story building was also known as the Union Trust Building and is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
