3 teenagers arrested after police chase

ST. BERNARD, Ohio (WKRC) -- Three teenagers were arrested Sunday, August 10, 2014 by St. Bernard police after officers noticed a stolen SUV and they found the juveniles sleeping inside.

Officers arrested the younger two, but the oldest ran away and stole a bicycle.

After crossing all lanes of I-75, he ended up in Ross Park where he stole a city worker's truck.

The teen then led officers on a chase through several communities including Cincinnati, Springfield Township and North College Hill.

Officers put down stop sticks that caused the teen to lose control and hit a utility pole on Savannah Avenue.

Police say the teen got out and ran behind North College Hill High School, near West Galbraith Road and Hamilton Avenue  where he was taken into custody.

No one was hurt. All three teens are locked up in the 20-20 detention center.
