Open container proposal for Cincinnati's entertainment districts

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- If some lawmakers get their way people could be allowed to carry open containers of alcohol in certain parts of town.

A new bill in the Ohio House of Representatives would allow open containers in entertainment districts.  There are several in Cincinnati including The Banks and Fountain Square.
Supporters said business could be boosted because patrons could have alcohol while they walk between different restaurants and bars.
A similar bill was introduced last year, but has not passed yet.
