Service dog returned to woman with RSD

SOUTH FAIRMOUNT, Ohio (WKRC) -- A woman suffering from a rare condition was reunited with her stolen service dog Sunday, August10.

Wolletta Bent suffers from RSD which causes extreme physical pain.  She was devastated when her highly-trained service dog, "Cocobella," was stolen from her South Fairmount home nearly two weeks ago.

But this cruel tale has a happy ending!  Moments after the Local 12 story aired Saturday night someone left the dog on Bent's front porch.  She was ecstatic to say the least.

"She just ran and ran to me and we both kind of just like fell to the floor and she was just licking me and giving me kisses and she was just really excited.  So, I started checking to see what was on her body.  Then I was just looking to see who was outside so I could tell them 'thank you' or whatever but they just ran up the street," Bent told Local 12.

Bent said whoever took the dog removed her tags and her pink nail polish.  She said Cocobella was a little shaken up and wasn't eating but Bent hoped to remedy that by getting the dog back into her routine.
